Monthly Pet Portrait Giveaway – Terms & Conditions

1. Promoter The promoter of this giveaway is Ryen Huntley (“the Promoter”), operating at www.ryenhuntley.com

2. Eligibility & Entry

  • The giveaway is open to entrants worldwide aged 18 or over.

  • To enter, participants must submit a valid Name and Email Address via the official entry form on the Promoter’s website during the active entry period.

  • Entry is free. No purchase is necessary to enter or win.

  • Month-Specific Entries: Each monthly draw is strictly limited to participants who enter during that specific calendar month. Entries do not roll over into subsequent monthly draws. Participants are only eligible for the single monthly draw corresponding to the date of their entry.

3. Prize & Winner Selection

  • The prize is one (1) custom hand-painted 6x6 inch unframed oil pet portrait of a single pet (valued at £150).

  • One (1) winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries received during that calendar month.

  • The winner will be contacted via the email address provided at entry within the first 7 days of the following calendar month.

  • If the winner does not respond within 7 calendar days of being notified, the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner from that month's entry pool.

4. Shipping, Duty & Taxes

  • UK Winners: Free standard shipping is included for address destinations within the United Kingdom.

  • International Winners (Non-UK): International shipping, handling fees, customs duties, import clearance fees, and local sales taxes are not included. International winners must cover all postage and duty costs prior to the physical artwork being shipped.

5. Copyright, Licensing & Distribution Rights

  • Intellectual Property: The Promoter retains 100% full legal ownership, copyright, and distribution rights to all artwork created for this giveaway.

  • Commercial Use & Reproduction: By entering, participants grant the Promoter the irrevocable, royalty-free right to reproduce, publish, digitize, distribute, and sell prints, products, or digital downloads of the completed artwork online, in print, or through third-party platforms without further compensation.

6. Winner Photo Submission & Social Media Usage

  • By accepting the prize, the winner agrees to provide at least one high-resolution photograph of the physical portrait within 14 days of delivery.

  • The photo may show the winner holding the painting, the pet alongside the painting, or the portrait displayed in situ (e.g., on a wall or shelf).

  • The winner grants the Promoter full permission to share and display these submitted photos across social media accounts, website galleries, marketing emails, and promotional materials. The Promoter is under no obligation to use all submitted photos.

7. Data Protection & Privacy

  • Personal data (Name and Email Address) provided during entry will be processed in accordance with UK GDPR laws.

  • By entering, participants agree to receive promotional communications, email updates, and exclusive commission offers from the Promoter. Entrants may unsubscribe at any time via the link provided at the bottom of any email.

8. General

  • The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, and no cash alternative will be offered.

  • The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, modify, or suspend the giveaway at any time if technical or unforeseen circumstances compromise its integrity.
