pet portrait request

Please review before booking:

  • I’ll agree in writing (email to the address provided below) to confirm whether or not I can take on your request.

  • Once agreed, I’ll send a payment link for payment up front, this is required before I begin painting.

  • All sales are final (unless I haven’t started the painting when the refund has been requested). Each portrait is a custom, original artwork.

  • I work in oils, alla prima (direct painting). This means no revisions or changes are offered once the painting is complete — your portrait is my unique interpretation of your pet and sometimes this can mean having stylistic elements that appear painterly and unfinished. (The painting is not a photograph and will not always appear like for like to the source image provided).

  • Unless otherwise agreed, I paint on canvas panels, they are not framed and do not have hanging hardware on the back.

  • Please upload 1–3 clear, high-quality photos. We’ll work together to agree on the best source image for the painting before I begin. If your photos aren’t suitable, I’ll let you know.

  • Turnaround is typically around 7 weeks from when I receive your payment and agree the source photo.

  • Shipping will be calculated and added on to the amount below and sent with the payment link.

  • I may share images of finished portraits on my website or social media. Please let me know if the painting is a gift and would prefer me to delay publishing on social media.

  • I retain copyright of the painting and images of the painting, along with all distribution rights.

  • I reserve the right to decline any portrait request and should this be the case, I’ll let you know in writing to the email address provided below.
